The Bridge to the Ph.D. Annual Symposium is an opportunity for current and past Bridge scholars to present the findings of their research to a larger audience on Columbia University’s Morningside campus. This annual event provides an open forum for Bridge scholars, faculty, and their guests to discuss research topics in astronomy, the biological sciences, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, engineering, physics, psychology, economics and diversity in STEM disciplines. In additional to the current and past Bridge scholars’ oral presentations, the symposium includes remarks from Columbia University's administrators and faculty, invited guest speakers and a graduation ceremony for the second years.
